DMC[1] was founded in 1978 to provide consultancy, project management and engineering design services. DMC operates for clients on a worldwide basis and in all branches of civil engineering. DMC is embedded in the construction industry through its parent organization and has helped to develop the ability to final solutions to practical problems and to blend innovation with reliability in design.
DMC is recognized as having particular expertise in the maritime engineering field and the full range of capabilities and experience within the firm is outlined below.
Services are tailored to suit the needs of each particular client and can include the full range of services from pre-investment advice to project management and contract services. DMC is both able to lead or to form part of a multi-disciplinary team for a particular project.
Many DMC engineers serve on councils and committees of organizations, both in The Netherlands and Internationally for research and technical advice to Governments.
DMC is a registered consultant with the major world funding organizations and with many bilateral aid organizations. Current clients include Central Governments, Port Authorities, Industrial Companies and Private individuals.
DMC utilizes the latest Information Technology and also develops its own special in-house software for design and engineering applications.
Through a policy of involving local firms where possible in overseas project, many working relationships with companies in various countries around the world have been built up.
Such relationships allow the benefit of technology transfer and also greatly assist the efficient and smooth operation of projects in foreign countries.
