Xbloc shore protection Cinta Costera, Panama, completed

The contractor Odebrecht has completed the Xbloc shore protection of the Cinta Costera, Panama. The shore protection was completed 18 months after the first Xblocs were cast. A total of 25,000 Xblocs have been placed
The Cinta Costera project in Panama City consist of land reclamation and a new shore protection to provide space for a new coastal road, a boulevard and a park. The Xbloc shore protection project was started in January 2008, and completed in June 2009. 25,000 0.75 m3 Xblocs have been applied. More information can be found at: Xbloc Cinta Costera.
