21st European Young Geotechnical Engineers Conference

DMC supports the European Young Geotechnical Engineers 2011 (EYGEC 2011). EYGEC 2011 will be organized by the Dutch department of the ISSMGE from September 4th – 7th, 2011. Young geotechnicians from all over the world will visit EYGEC 2011. William van Niekerk (president of NSSMGE) will welcome the young geotechnicians.
During EYGEC 2011 presentations will be given by leading geotechnical experts such as prof. Jean Louis Briaud (president of ISSMGE), Ivan Vanicek (vice president ISSMGE for Europe), Laura Caldeira (LNEC / president ELGIP) and Tim Chapman, Arup. Also an excursion to Maasvlakte 2 will be organized. DMC Design Manager M. van Kaam will give a presentation about the design of the quay walls.
