Projects

New Lock Terneuzen, Terneuzen, The Netherlands

The lock complex at Terneuzen is the main gateway to Terneuzen and Ghent in the port of North Sea Port. It is the main shipping connection between the Netherlands, Belgium and France and is a crucial link in the Seine-Scheldt connection. The construction of a new lock within the existing lock complex provides better access and smoother flow of the increasing maritime traffic for both inland and seagoing vessels.

Sea lock IJmuiden, IJmuiden, The Netherlands

The port of Amsterdam is protected by a closed sea defense to enable cargo transfer independent of current and tide. Due to expected increased throughput and increasingly larger vessels, a larger lock is required to enable future economic growth of the port. A new lock also provides maintenance possibilities for the existing crowded locks. The new lock is the world's largest, with dimensions of 500m length, 70m width and 18m deep.

Iron ore loading berth and wharf extension AP5, Port Hedland, Australia

Fortescue Metals Group awarded the BAM Clough Joint Venture (BAM Clough) the design and construction contract for a fifth iron ore loading berth at its Anderson Point Facility (AP5) in Port Hedland, Western Australia.
